I have been keeping my promise and working hard on my list. Many of these things are things that will prbably have to be done over again , but at least I did them.


January 1st 2009 - September 29th 2011


1.walk 15 - 30 minutes a day
2. Lose 50lbs
3. Eat more fruits and vegetables
4. Stop biting nails
5. Write 1000 words every day
6. Update my livejournal every week Been doing this pretty regularly so far.
7. Take care of my appearance  instead of looking like a slob all the time This too.
8. Make more jewelry
9. Master crocheting
10. Finish all of the books on my current reading list
11. Get my driving permit
12. Get my driver's license
13. Get a new car
14. Enroll in school
15. Learn to cook 5 great dishes
16. Work on my phobias
17.Learn tarot
18. Be more spiritual
19. Go to the park in the summer
20. Try to go to the smoky mountains again
21. 26 things project - draw a picture of each thing representing a letter of the alphabet
22. Do my makeup every morning
23. Keep a dream diary I've been writing down the wacky dreams I remember in my LJ so far.
24. Try Nanowrimo this year
25. Get out of the house more
26. Start dating again
27. Go to a dermatologist to get my skin cleared up
28. Buy a laptop
29. Familiarize myself with classical music
30. Start a food diary
31. Start saving money instead of blowing it all the time
32. Try belly dancing
33. Organize my stuff  Did this too , but will probably have to do it numerous times.
34. Get my first tattoo
35. Read the bible
36. Write a book review every month
37. Finish all the stories I've started
38. Back up all my files on my computer
39. Get all my photos printed and put them in an album
40. Learn Photoshop really well
41. Start drinking only water , milk , and diet soft drinks.
42. Post a secret in PostSecret
43. Get drunk once
44. Make a list of 25 things I've never done before and do each of them
45. Donate 100,000 grains of rice on freerice.com
46. Print my 101 list and review it every day (0/1001)
47. Clean room everyday So far , so good
48.Join an online role playing group and actually post regularly
49. Procrastinate less
50. Watch 25 classic films
51. Try sushi
52. Go outside once a day
53.Take a vitamin everyday
54. Kiss a stranger
55. Have a great lover
56. Create a skin care regimen
57. Create 5 amigurumi
58. Finish 2 jigsaw puzzles
59. Start drawing again - Done that
60. Pick 10 classic books to read and finish them
61. Make 20 new online friends
62. Keep my bonsai alive the whole time
63. Study economics
64. Study the Victorian era
65. Prepare to move out on my own
66. Go searching for UFOs one night
67. learn CPR
68. Make a new theme each month and photograph/craft/write about it
69. Do the 52 blessings photo project
70. Spend more time with my little brother
71. Spend one night at home alone by myself
72. Memorize 3 poems
73. Watch the sun rise and set at least 3 times
74. Pretend to be someone else on the internet
75. Read 100 books  (make a list first) (2/100)
76. Watch 5 Studio Ghibli movies
77. Memorize five good jokes
78. Go hiking in the woods a few times without being frightened of bears

84. Get rid of everything I don't need or want I did this , but I know I'll have to do it again

89. Finish typing up all my handwritten stories
90. Visit my Granny in Chattanooga
91. Get my wisdom teeth pulled
92. Send and receive a post card through Post Crossing

94. Make some exercise dvds from youtube videos and do them
95. Complete 7 computer games
96. Write something strange and anonymous  on the inside of a bathroom stall or something 10 times
97. Research Islam , Judaism , and Christianity
98. Be more active in online communities
99. Stop beating myself up over not being perfect
100. Check this list everyday

Well. I've been hard at work on my 101 list so far. Also I have decided to do several things this year if it kills me . I'm trying to get into a nursing program so I can be a LPN. It's a 12 month course and after I finish it and get a job as an LPN I want to take the RN course to go to the next level.
The other thing I want to accomplish is getting my driver's license. I'm 24 and it is about fucking time. I'm tired of being carted everywhere by my grandma. It really cramps my style , lol. I've gotten my permit before and that was easy. I'm just terrified of taking the road test. I get so nervous under scrutiny. I get so nervous driving at all , actually.
But I'm just going to have to take a risk and go for it. If I don't I won't ever be able to be independent. And I soo want to be independent.

All of these plans make me nervous. I constantly worry about things. Whether I'm going to succeed or fail . I hate screwing up. It's part of my perfectionist tendencies. I always want to be the best and I'm afraid to even try anything if I don't think I'll be the best. I have the "all or nothing " error in my head.

Some things I have to just accept. I must accept that I won't always be the best of everything and that I will make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes.

Another thing I must accept is that my mother will never be there for me. For years I begged her to help me. For years she promised she would . But every time that I ask her to help me she refuses. She is always telling me that I will fail and that I will never accomplish anything of merit. I'm so tired of her . I have to just write her off. Even though she is my mother , because of her mental and emotional abuse , as well as her little problem that she has  , I don't think I'll ever be able to trust her again. I just need to keep my distance. I will always love her . But she will not control my life and kill my dreams just because she is bitter and angry.

Enough of my whining though.
I'm going to make something of myself!

I'll organize and go over this list later . I'm a little late for posting this , but it took me a while to work on it.
